Di Linh Coffee
Draft — sample only
Di Linh · Lâm Đồng · Việt Nam · single family farm

Grown by our father, in volcanic soil.

High-elevation Vietnamese Robusta from a single family farm — hand-sorted, roasted at origin, and sealed the day it leaves the highlands. Not a commodity. A place, and the people who work it.

Our why

A father's work, carried to another country.

For decades our father has farmed the red basalt slopes of Di Linh — watching the weather, timing the harvest, sorting cherry by hand. This company exists to put his coffee in front of people who will taste the difference, and to build something lasting for the family who grew it.

“Grown in the volcanic soils of Di Linh by our father, and hand-sorted by our family.”

Our sister leads the brand and design from Vietnam. Her husband, who spent years in wine distribution, runs logistics and wholesale in the United States. We are a small team on two continents with one supply chain and no middlemen.

The coffee

Why high-elevation Robusta is the future, not the compromise.

Robusta earned its reputation from decades of low-grade commodity supply. Grown high, picked ripe and processed with care, it is a different crop entirely — and it thrives in a climate that Arabica is beginning to struggle in.

Climate-resilient

Robusta tolerates the heat, drought and disease pressure that increasingly threaten Arabica-growing regions. As the highlands warm, that stops being a footnote and becomes the point.

Volcanic terroir

Di Linh's red basalt soils are deep, mineral-rich and free-draining — the same geology that made this plateau Vietnam's coffee heartland.

Sealed at origin

Roasted where it grew and sealed immediately in nitrogen-flushed, one-way-valve bags — the estate-bottled approach, applied to coffee.

Origin to cup

Four steps, one family, no brokers.

Most coffee changes hands five or six times between the farm and your counter. Ours changes hands once.

01

Grown and picked in Di Linh

Selective hand-picking at peak ripeness on our father's farm, over 1,000 metres on the Lâm Đồng plateau.

02

Processed and hand-sorted

Sun-dried on the farm and hand-sorted for defects — the step that separates specialty from commodity, and the one machines do worst.

03

Roasted at origin, or shipped green

Cafes and direct customers receive coffee roasted and sealed in Vietnam. Roasters who prefer to roast it themselves receive green beans from the same lots.

04

Straight to your counter

No importer, no broker, no commodity desk. The margin those layers took now supports the family that grew the coffee.
